Kia ora,

We've Nann and Ryan, two guys who are at a stage in our lives now where we are more than ready to become parents.

We've learnt a lot about what the journey ahead looks like for us and the people that will be part of this complex process through research, consultations with fertility clinics, joining online groups and talking to people who have already been through or are going through the same journey.

We’re very fortunate to have a kind, beautiful friend ours offer to donate her eggs to us and the missing piece in the puzzle now is to find another amazing person to be our gestational surrogate.

Should we be lucky enough to connect with someone who may consider being a surrogate for us, please be assured that we have no expectations to begin with and would just love the opportunity to have a chat and see where things go from there.

We're open to having a surrogate anywhere in New Zealand, location is not an issue for us, connection is more important. Traditional surrogacy could potentially be an option also, if that is your preference - happy to talk more about this.

We enjoy being outside and active, whether that's going on day/multi-day walks, gardening, swimming at the beach or going for little road trips to visit local towns nearby. Equally, we're quite happy to just enjoy some peace and quite at home on the deck, listening to the birds and the sounds of nature after a busy week.

We have a goal of completing all the great walks around New Zealand one day. So far, we've done the Milford and Heaphy tracks together - Nann has also done the Abel Tasman and Kepler tracks.

We both cook and like a variety of cuisines - Ryan is a pretty good baker. Ryan also enjoys listening to a good audiobook and has the green fingers in the relationship. Nann is the D.I.Y person in the relationship and loves getting stuck into a project.

Ryan is a Nurse Practitioner and works in primary care. He deeply cares for the wellbeing of people, and is passionate about what he does.

Nann work in the aviation travel industry and is currently an operations standards role. Prior to this, most of his working career has been in learning and development within the same industry.

Outside of work, we’ve both recently settled in a little town called Waipū in Northland. Having lived in Auckland for many years, we wanted a quieter life, away from the hustle and bustle of a big city and wanted more space - plus being close to some amazing beaches is an added bonus.

We've got a few animals now, Binx our cat (the boss), 6 orpington chickens and 4 babydoll sheep (2 mixed breed).

In our spare time, as mentioned above, one of the things you’ll find us doing most of the time is being outside pottering about on our property. We’d like to live more sustainably by growing our own food and regenerating the land with native plants – this keeps us busy, but it is a fulfilling labour of love.

If you've read this far, thank you! We've created a website where you can learn more about us and an Instagram profile, where we'll be more active on - check them out and we'd really appreciate it if you could share our website and instagram to help us reach more people.
